POE
Making a luminaire PoE-compatible is more complex than it may seem. It's not as simple as swapping out an LED driver for a PoE node and plugging in an Ethernet cable for power. PoE nodes vary, and ensuring electrical compatibility can be challenging. Standard lumen packages might not be feasible, and certain nodes may not work with specific fixtures. However, once a PoE system is installed, swapping out fixtures becomes easy, without the need for rewiring or modifying cables.
PoE systems also support RGB+W and tunable white controls, integrate with exit and emergency lighting, and scale effectively for both small and large projects.
